Aditi Mittal is one of the better-known faces of the Indian English stand-up comedy scene in North and West India. In 2013, Mittal was invited by the BBC for the prestigious 100 Women Conference in London She first performed her solo stand-up show “Things They Wouldn’t Let Me Say” in 2013 at the Canvas Laugh Factory, Mumbai which was then turned into a Netflix special.

- In December 2014, Mittal was featured as a part of the controversial Roast panel on the AIB (All India Bakchod) Knockout.
- She had appeared as a guest on BBC RADIO 4’s “The Now Show” and recently in James May’s “Our Man in India”.
- Aditi Mittal released a YouTube series in 2017 titled “Bad Girls” showcasing women activists.
- She developed the character of Dr. (Mrs.) Lutchuke because she did not like the way sex was portrayed by the media. Mittal has spoken at India’s 1st Sex Exposition by India Today, WIFT India (Women in Film and Television), Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, and comedy festivals across the country.
- Aditi is also the first Indian comedian to perform at The Laugh Factory in Los Angeles, California, the home of stand-up comedy worldwide.
- She was one of the founding members of the Ghanta Awards and the Filmfail Awards, two of the biggest parody award shows in India.
- The comedian has been featured in Ripping the Decade with Vir Das, Fools Gold Awards on Comedy Central India, and Bollywood OMG on Channel V.
- Her second special “Girl Meets Mic” is also on Netflix. “Mother of Invention” is her third show which is on Amazon Prime UK, AUS, and Next Up Comedy.
- She’s also the host and executive producer of the podcast “Women In Labour” which is available on every platform.
- Mittal was a part of the series “The World According To Comedians” in Finland on YLE.
- Her other work includes “Beginners Guide to India” with BBC Radio 4.
- She has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in the UK, the Melbourne Comedy Festival in Australia, and the Montreux Comedy Festival in Switzerland.
- Aditi Mittal also held stand-up comedy workshops in India and at Soho Theatre in London.
- The comedian recently wrote and acted in a short film called “In that Top” in collaboration with Financial Times. It’s about daughters, dads and democracy.
