Prajakta Koli’s “Too Good To Be True” Is Ready for Its Big Netflix Moment!

Prajakta Koli is entering a new phase in her career as her debut novel Too Good To Be True is officially being adapted into a web series by Netflix. The announcement marks a significant shift for the creator, who is now moving beyond acting into shaping stories from the ground up.

The adaptation follows the huge success of her novel, which gained instant popularity among the younger audience. This makes the project even more exciting because Prajakta will not just star in the series; she will also have a role as the producer, allowing her the artistic liberty to adapt her story into a visual format.

The production process for this series is rumoured to commence towards the end of 2026, making this one of the most highly anticipated youth-driven series of the year.

How Prajakta Shaped The Story of ‘Too Good To Be True’

At its core, ‘Too Good to Be True‘ is a contemporary romance set in Mumbai. The story follows Avani, a law student balancing her academics with a job at a bookstore. Her life takes a sudden turn when she meets Aman. He is a successful businessman and the CEO of a leading company. What begins as an unexpected encounter soon grows into a story of love, change, and self discovery.

Beyond romance, the show explores deeper themes. It touches on ambition, trauma, and modern relationships. Interestingly, Prajakta first imagined this story as a series. It later took shape as a book. As of now, while Prajakta is likely to portray Avani in the show, other characters have yet to be selected through auditions and casting.

New Beginnings for Prajakta Koli

Since her success on YouTube and later stepping into acting, Prajakta Koli can be viewed as a rising talent among India’s emerging stars in the digital domain. Considering that she is already a well-known actress, the venture would be entirely new for her since she gets the opportunity to produce content instead of only performing in them.

In addition, the Netflix adaptation of Too Good to Be True would usher in a new age for platform-supported creator-driven content. Given the promising storyline and considering the past success stories, the show is bound to become popular upon its release.

Ultimately, the adaptation will mark a new age of creator lead entertainment where individuals such as Prajakta Koli take control of mainstream entertainment.
