On December 11, 2023, the singer-actor announced the all-new Find Comfort Body Collection. It is a 4-product range featuring a fragrance mist, body lotion, hand lotion and aromatherapy pen. Selena has always believed that self-comfort is feeling good in your own skin. “To me, being rare is about being comfortable with who you are. It’s about accepting yourself. Loving yourself. Being there for yourself so you can be there for the ones you love” she said.

“It’s all about emphasizing well-being,” the mental health advocate adds. “We spent a lot of time making sure the collection truly represents our brand, focusing on soothing packaging colors, light textures, and calming aromas. Our goal was to create an experience that helps people feel comfortable in their own skin and take a moment to find comfort.”
Speaking to Elle, Selena Gomez explained why she wanted to move to create body care products. She said “The Find Comfort Body Collection was a thoughtful choice for us and something I knew I wanted to do from the start but only when the timing was right. We wanted to offer a well-rounded experience. Each product took a different amount of time to develop, making sure they truly represented our brand and delivered a sensory experience in line with the collection’s theme.“
The Launch Event
Rare Beauty hosted a cosy night-in for a bunch of exclusive invitees in New York to launch the new products. From a monogrammed coffee stop to a self-care exercise to a scenic meal to a bonfire night, every experience was curated keeping in mind the self-comfort and acceptance theme. Living amidst the rustic, earthy settings adorned with the most beautiful flower setups, this was the perfect way to launch the new collection.
The launch event was graced by the presence of a bunch of stellar influencers too. They got to chat with the ‘Fetish‘ singer and also indulge in a cute meet-and-greet session. We spotted self-proclaimed makeup nerd Aditya Madiraju there. He had two career milestone moments at the same time – hitting 600k followers on Instagram and meeting Selena Gomez for the second time at a Rare Beauty event. Aditya also showed her the picture of his newborn daughter, Yana and vlogged his entire experience.
Kripa Joshi Patel was also present at this exclusive launch event. She was elated to meet the most followed woman on Instagram. “It’s not everyday that you meet @selenagomez ♥️ Now I know Dreams do come true 🥰🫶 @selenagomez is the most amazing human I have ever met quite literally.
