It was a proud moment for India when music label Saregama’s talented trio – Pragati Nagpal, Maahi, and Arjun Tanwar performed at the Cannes Film Festival 2024. One of the most loved Bollywood singers for decades, Shaan made his Cannes debut this year along with his son Maahi. Their performances were a marque highlight at Cannes this year, showcasing India’s rich musical heritage on an international stage.

The Performances
This Gen Z trio performed at the prestigious Bharat Parv event on May 16, hosted by the Official Indian Delegation from the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) and supported by Kamla Mills. The audience comprised celebrities, senior officials, and esteemed film guests from the international and Indian Film industry.
Pragati, Maahi, and Arjun enthralled the guests with a set list that blended their originals that were released earlier this year, with classic all-time favourites from Saregama’s rich catalogue. The trio also took centre stage on May 17 with another captivating performance at the Bharat Pavilion. The legendary Shaan graced the stage to introduce the Saregama talents and kickstart their powerful performance.
Maahi’s “Jaadugari”
Shaan’s son and a Saregama Talent, Maahi has just dropped his second single “Jaadugari,” which is available on leading streaming platforms. This comes after the huge success of his first single, “Sorry,” which marked him as a notable newcomer in the music scene. With “Jaadugari,” Maahi aims to offer his fans another taste of his distinct sound and emotional delivery that has been earning him praise.
Maahi shared his excitement about the release. “This song is incredibly special to me, and I hope it resonates with listeners just as much as it did with me while creating it. I am grateful for the love and support I’ve received so far, and I am thrilled to continue this musical journey with such an amazing audience,” he said.
