Snapchat
According to the Official Snapchat Newsroom, a new feature named “Story Boost” is being developed by Snapchat to assist Snapchat+ subscribers in increasing the visibility of their content within the app.
This feature would ostensibly amplify their stories to more viewers.
As you can see in this illustration given below, which Alessandro Paluzzi found in the app’s back-end code, Story Boost would allow Snapchat+ users to “get more views” on their stories without alerting their friends, saving them the shame of having to pay to reach.
It would, presumably, make sure that the user’s Story is displayed daily among the first Stories for each of your connections and is given utmost priority. Though if it were a public Story, Snap could also promote it to more randoms or exhibit your Story via other discovery means.
According to Snap:
Over 332 million people use Snapchat daily to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together.
We’ve always enjoyed creating new features for our community, and historically we’ve tested new features in different ways, rolling them out to various Snapchatters and geographies.
We’re looking forward to hearing your feedback on Snapchat+ and we can’t wait for you to try our latest products and features.
Happy Snapchat+ing!
