The music video of Tesher’s ‘Jalebi Baby’ ft. Jason Derulo is finally out! Premiered on July 13, 2021, it’s driving everyone gaga! The track blends cultures as people created videos on Tesher’s original version from all over the world. Within four days of its release, the official music video received 9.2 million views and 526K likes! What a crazy reach that too in such a short time! Apart from achieving international success, the remix track has also reached the top five of Billboard’s ‘World Digital Song Sales’ chart on July 17, 2021, peaking at the fourth position.

‘Jalebi Baby’ debuted at no. 186 on the Billboard ‘Global 200’ chart and no.116 on the Billboard ‘Global Excl. U.S’ chart on the issue dated June 12, 2021. Also, it peaked at no. 15 from no. 17 in the inaugural edition of India’s ‘Top 20 International Singles Chart’ for the week. It appeared in popular music charts in Europe, Austria, France, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, and Switzerland. Currently, it has amassed over 200 million global streams. Before the release, Tesher and Jason performed ’Jalebi Baby’ live for the first time together on Today on July 7, 2021.
Apart from Tesher and Jason, Shweta Subram and Neha Sharma were behind the singing and vocals. When Hitesh Sharma a.k.a Tesher, the Canadian-based rapper, singer-songwriter, and producer unveiled the official lyric video of his original version with the Punjabi-English mix, the video gained over 99 million views and 1.6 million likes till now. Even before the official music video on YouTube, the visualizer video of the song with 5.2 million views was viral all over social media like crazy! The lyrical video with 2.9 million views was a tough rival too!
After its release on November 13, 2020, Jalebi Baby’ topped the Shazam charts in 25+ countries and by May, it had amassed over 100 million combined global streams. It appeared at no. one on the UK Asian Music Chart and remained so for seven consecutive weeks! Next, on February 20, 2021, it debuted at no. 20 on the Billboard’s ‘Top Triller Global Chart’ and at number 16 on Billboard’s ‘World Digital Song Sales’ chart on May 29, 2021.
