This article will interest you if you’re a fan of superhero series or movies. Moreover, Shahid Kapoor fans, this is something you would want to read about. The Boys Season 3 was released yesterday and its launch event was something great.
The Boys is an American superhero television series developed by Eric Kripke for the streaming service Amazon Prime Video. Based on the comic book of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, which was originally published by DC Comics under its Wildstorm imprint before moving to Dynamite Entertainment, it follows the eponymous team of vigilantes as they combat superpowered individuals who abuse their abilities.
The series stars an ensemble cast that includes Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capone, and Karen Fukuhara as the vigilantes and Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Chace Crawford, Jessie T. Usher, and Nathan Mitchell as members of “the Seven”, an elite superhero group.
Ahead of the Season 3 premiere, two days ago, Shahid Kapoor, took to the streets of Mumbai to showcase his excitement for the Amazon Original series and unveiled Homelander, a famous character from the show.
Shahid made a grand entry to the b-boying moves of Kings United dance group performing a foot-tapping, high-energy song. The actor then unveiled a hoarding through an exhilarating stunt. The billboard had the image of the lead Supe from The Seven – Homelander, who shot out a laser targeting a nearby car with his deadly vision.
Shahid announced, “The twist about the show is that the superheroes of this show are not heroes but villains and I love bad boys on screen!”
There are eight episodes in The Boys season 3. While not a lot is known about how they’ll play out, showrunner Eric Kripke had some time ago said that the opening episode, titled ‘Payback’, will feature the “craziest thing anyone’s ever done”.
