Mumbai, October 2024: Viraj Ghelani, who made himself a household name with his relatable representation of Gujarati families in his social media content, is now all set to represent his community abroad with his standup shows. Along with his notable work as an actor and content creator, Viraj has become a known name in the standup world, delivering consecutive housefull shows. Marking his international standup debut, Viraj will be now seen performing in London and Leicester, UK, entertaining the international audience.
Debuting as a standup artist in May 2024, Viraj Ghelani has successfully delivered over 8 housefull standup shows in India entertaining a mass of over 4000 people. Taking his success a notch higher, Viraj will be entertaining the International Gujarati community in London and Leicester on the 26th and 27th of October respectively, presenting a clean, family entertainer show while representing his culture abroad.
On his international standup debut and representing Gujarati roots abroad, Actor and Content Creator, Viraj Ghelani said, “I have always ensured that I take a bit of my culture wherever I go. Be it my content or movies I pick or now the standup, I try to keep a blend of my Gujarati roots intact and I feel pride in now representing the same to international audiences with my standup shows.”

It was in May 2024 when Viraj made a remarkable standup debut, delivering two consecutive sold-out clean, family-entertainer Gujarati shows, entertaining over 1200 people. Building on the success, Viraj embarked on his first-ever four-city Gujarat stand-up tour.
He entertained around 3500 people from Surat, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, and Vadodara with his housefull shows while talking about a Gujarati household, his mother, his hard work, and his nani (maternal grandmother). Later, his Mumbai shows received humongous love from the audience as the shows were sold out 2 months in advance.
Viraj Ghelani is a talented actor and content creator, who made a groundbreaking impact on Gujarati cinema with his debut film “Jhamkudi,” which achieved remarkable success by grossing over 25 crores and securing a spot as the third highest-grossing film in Gujarati cinema history. Standing as the highest-grossing Gujarati film of 2024, it has also premiered at the International Gujarati Film Festival in Sydney.
Having worked with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Jawaan’ and Vicky Kaushal in ‘Govinda Mera Naam’, Viraj holds the distinction of being the first content creator whose debut movie achieved such resounding success.
