Watch: Nidhi Kumar and Mohak Malhotra’s Love Story Will Make You Ugly Cry!

The day Nidhi Kumar and Mohak Malhotra watched the trailer for their wedding reality series, FoundNiMo The Shaadi Series, something surprising happened. Mohak didn’t melt into mush. He froze, in a good way! “I genuinely couldn’t believe we captured all of this,” he laughed later.

Nidhi, on the other hand, felt a wave of emotions. For her, the strongest feeling was love, mixed with the certainty that they had documented their story “for our future.”

Their journey, now free to watch on their YouTube channel through FoundNiMo The Shaadi Series, went surprisingly smoothly. Nidhi Kumar and Mohak Malhotra shared a clear vision. The biggest drama came from their outfits, specifically the ones that never showed up.

This led to Nidhi spiraling and Mohak stepping in as part-time therapist.

Nidhi Kumar and Mohak Malhotra: Love, Loss, Laughter and Last-Minute Outfits

When asked about the ups and downs of planning a wedding, Mohak gave an honest answer with his signature straightforwardness. The best part? “All the emotions while planning to marry the love of your life.” The worst part? “Looking at your bank account after you’re done.”

Did Nidhi Kumar and Mohak Malhotra ever feel tempted to put on a dramatic act for the show? No. They chose to stay authentic. They wanted viewers to feel the realness, the love, and the chaos as it happened. Maybe that’s why their relationship works. It’s built on one simple idea: “The willingness to keep showing up for us.”

One of the funniest memories came during dance rehearsals. Their first dance was adorable, perfect, Instagram-worthy. But then came the song “Ding Dong Ding.” Mohak needed to lip-sync “Mehbooba” right on cue. Unfortunately, his British accent turned the sultry Bollywood word into something that made Nidhi laugh uncontrollably every time.

That mix of cultures really defined their wedding. They included a rehearsal dinner and a seated reception to honor Mohak’s upbringing in the UK. The guests enjoyed it, their parents loved it, and even the pandit probably appreciated it.

From A Dream Man to The Aisle

Growing up, Nidhi dreamed of a man who was gentle yet assertive, calm yet strong, someone who could match her ambition without feeling threatened. When she met Mohak, she knew he was the one.

“And the looks… I can’t even start,” she added.

It’s no surprise that the emotional moments were intense. For Mohak, the pheras meant everything. That final moment when they officially became husband and wife was magical. For Nidhi, her aisle moment was unforgettable. Walking with her parents, seeing all her loved ones, and spotting him waiting for her left a lasting impression.

The most meaningful outfit at the wedding wasn’t her lehenga. It was the rehearsal dinner outfit created by her best friend Melissa, who Nidhi tragically lost to cancer earlier this year.

“I could feel her with me in that one. It was so special.”

If Nidhi Kumar and Mohak Malhotra had to sum up this once-in-a-lifetime journey, the perfect line would come from Nidhi’s entry song, “Still The One”: “We’re still together, still going strong.”
