Indian rapper Badshah is hailed to be 2020’s top songwriter on YouTube, according to Blokur’s reports. Blokur announced the news through its Instagram page just six days ago. The rapper has given us back-to-back hit songs which have already made the fans crazy. Now, he’s also included in the list of songwriters, that too, at No. 1 position on YouTube! Nothing can beat the enthusiasm of this news.

Currently, Badshah has 2.03 million subscribers on YouTube and 6.8 million followers on Instagram. To be the top songwriter on YouTube, the majority of his music videos must have reached the million club. With over 833 million views, ‘Genda Phool’ reached the highest views. Next is ‘She Move It Like That’ which has over 433 million views and ‘Garmi’ with 398 million views. Some of the other songs in the million views list are ‘Munna Badnaam Hua’, ‘Toxic’, Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag’, and so on.

His latest track ‘Paani Paani’ hit the mark of more than 282 million views within a month. Not only that, but ‘Paani Paani’ has also entered two mainstream Billboard Global Charts! The first one is Billboard Global Exclusive U.S at #87 position. Secondly, he got featured in Billboard Global 200 on July 7, 2021. It’s also trending on Instagram!
