Instagram, which started initially as a photo sharing app, has now established itself as a global platform catering to much more than what it was initially designed to do. On September 23rd, 2021 Instagram launched a new global brand platform: “Yours To Make“. Here’s all you need to know about “Yours To Make“.

Yours to Make showcases how you can explore who you are with Instagram. For young people, identity isn’t defined, it’s something that’s constantly explored. Whether that means connecting more deeply with the people that matter to you, discovering and experimenting with new interests, or sharing your perspective, however work in progress it may be.” says Instagram on their blog.

Instagram believes that when people have a place to explore collectively who they can be, they can move themselves, their communities, and even the world forward. It’s “Yours To Make.

Instagram also released a small video for this initiative. You can watch the video below.

The campaign’s hero film highlights the power of self-exploration on Instagram. It takes everyone on a journey of discovery, featuring a wide range of products within the vast Instagram ecosystem. The film also spotlights real creators and daily users who are using Instagram “to push the boundaries of creativity and experimentation—including hip-hop artist Topaz Jones, gymnast Morgan Hurd, Native American Makeup Artist Madrona Redhawk, and digital creator Justin Yi.”

Yours to Make serves as a celebration of the collective  good that comes by connecting with communities and interests on Instagram.

Currently the campaign is live in the US and UK. Instagram will soon be launching it in additional countries later this year.

Instagram recently released a new verification update too. To know more about, have a look at our “A Look At Instagram’s Verification Update” article by clicking here. Furthermore, in India Instagram has announced Creator Day. Click here to know more about it.
