All Hail! The Queen is here.
Nandini Gupta, who is from Kota in Rajasthan, has been named Miss India World 2023. Nandini who is 19 years old, was crowned Miss India Rajasthan in February 2023 and has been on an unstoppable path to the national title ever since.
The 59th edition of the competition took place on 15th April 2023 and was hosted at the Khuman Lampak Stadium, Imphal, Manipur.
Gupta wanted to be a part of this journey since she was a little girl and going through the journey was nothing less than a dream come true. She comes from a city famous for its IIT coaching- Kota and has given many shining engineer stars to the country. Nandini studied from St. Paul Sr. Sec. School and moved to Mumbai for her graduation and to pursue her dream of becoming Miss India.
The journey began after she signed up to become Miss Rajasthan and cleared several rounds of interviews and walks to become Miss India Rajasthan 2023.
After winning the state title, began the journey to the main goal- Miss India World 2023.
For 45 days, the journey to winning the title of Miss India became the only goal for all the 30 state winners. The journey of all contestants is covered over the main social media handles of Miss India World’s pages and on the personal accounts of the state winners.
Nandini and others did several shoots with different brands during these 45 days such as- VLCC, Orra, Colorbar and more.
During this amazing journey of learning- they were learning it all compassion, walks, behavior, well-being of the society, and more.
Nandini has been fond of dancing her way through life and walking away with confidence swiftly and she always displayed it very well- in life and on stage!
The journey was to end in Manipur and the girls were welcomed in the city a week before the final day where not only did shoots but visited several places-
School Little Flowers where Nandini addressed the school children.
While Nandini bagged the Miss India World 2023 title, Shreya Poonja of Delhi is the first runner-up, and Strela Luwang from Manipur is the second runner-up.
In the final round of the Top 7 Questions round, Nandini was asked,
What would you choose if you had the chance to change the world or yourself?
“Just like charity begins at home and appreciation comes from the home, the change also comes from within. So if you can change yourself, you can definitely change the world.” replied, Nandini Gupta.
Nandini’s win is a win for the nation and we can’t wait to see her represent India in the 71st edition of the Miss World pageant that will be held in the United Arab Emirates. Wishing the girl all the power and luck for the upcoming journey that starts anew with the title she has won.
