Dream of something and then get to accomplish it. Sounds like a plan, right? Neel Ranaut Sarkar is someone who did it and the story of his achievement is for sure the one that will make you re-think if you’re doing enough effort to get where you ought to be.
Neel made a change for himself because he was from a village where engaging in various forms of labor was not common. He endured harassment for his feminine accent during the course of his life, but thanks to the success of his career, he overcame it.
Being an LLB student, the content creator journey was not an easy one but he started posting videos- where he would enact different celebrities by recreating their looks out of flowers, leaves, and fruits. His video of recreating Deepika Padukone’s video went viral and then everything changed.
Instead of buying anything- just recreation of clothing with leaves, flowers, and fruits has been his hack. Clothes from the wardrobes of families members were used too.
His work is creative and that’s what makes it different.
A year later he got a message from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla! He said, ‘You’re very creative! Keep up!’ I was shaken; I realized I had potential. And if that wasn’t it, he invited me to perform at his event in Delhi.’, Neel told in an interview. And since then he has been working with Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla as a model and designer.
Neel recently got featured in Humans of Bombay for the extraordinary work. From recreating looks videos to working with Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.
“But you know..sometimes when I think about it, all of this feels like a dream but then I tell myself about how hard I’ve worked. And then, life sometimes just works out for you… even if it’s all about styling leaves & flowers!”, Neel told Humans of Bombay.
